These natural bristle brushes can be used with a wide range of media, including watercolor and oil, and are particularly well suited for ceramic and encaustic art. Hake brushes are also useful for laying in large areas of water or color evenly, wetting surfaces, and for absorbing excess media. Brush tip comes to a tapered edge when wet (see image 4 for reference). A metal ferrule protects the brushes’ roots. Economical and long lasting. Brush hair length is approximately 1 3/8" long.
