• Qad nara taqalluba wajhika fi al-samā'i falanuwalliyannaka qiblatan tar?āhā; fawalli wajhaka sha?ra al-Masjid al-?arām; wa ?aythu mā kuntum fawallū wujūhakum sha?rahu; wa inna alladhīna ūtū al-kitāba laya'lamūna annahu al-?aqqu min rabbihim; wamā Allāhu bighāfilin 'ammā ya'malūn.

• "We have certainly seen the turning of your face, [O Muhammad], toward the heaven, and We will surely turn you to a Qibla with which you will be pleased. So turn your face toward the Sacred Mosque. And wherever you [believers] are, turn your faces toward it [in prayer]. Indeed, those who have been given the Scripture know that it is the truth from their Lord. And Allah is not unaware of what they do."
