Yasutomo's authentic Chinese watercolors are made from finely ground pigments, making them extraordinarily smooth when used full strength and when thinned with water.
Unlike most Western and Japanese watercolors, they feature a stronger binder that's almost glue-like, which enables them to stand up to many traditional Chinese painting techniques. Finished pieces can also withstand wet mounting.
These watercolors mix easily with both Chinese and Japanese inks. They are water soluble, non-toxic and offer superior lightfastness. Set comes in a beautiful box with a hang tab.
